Post 04: My favorite TV show

I don't actually have a favorite TV programm, but I really like the German show “Dark” of Netflix. It’s place in a town named Winden, the story revolves around the protagonist, Jonas Kahnwald, a teenager who has suffered a terrible loss and is forced to face unexpected truths about him, his family and the people near him. The series begins with the disapperance of a person, situation that somehow is related to a bunch of police old cases and records. The programm presents previous events occurred decades ago, where some of the characters are involved. As the show continues, we get to know more things, the mysteries starting to make sense to then leave you speechless.

Furthermore, the facts and explanations between the events from the past, present and even the future are so well accomplished that at the end of the series most of the things are explained, I think that it's what I like the most about the show, all the incidents lead to something specific at the last episode in season 3. Plus “Dark” has an excellent cast, not just because you can clearly see the resemble between the young and old version of the characters, there are great actors behind the cameras. Also there are scenes that represents different periods of time with accurate settings, elements (clothes, hairstyles, technology, etc) and history context.

I highly recommend it, however, I don't want to spoil many things about it, in case you or someone else haven’t watched it yet. The only thing I’m going to say is that my favorite episode is number five of season one, because it has a huge truth that is so shocking that it will change your expectations of the series, so if you are going to watch it, I’ll suggest you to pay extremely attention to the first episodes, nonetheless, don’t think you won’t be surprised the following seasons, they are as impressive as the first one.
