Post 05: My future job

Imagen
There are moments where you have to work or do other procedures to keep your lifestyle stable, but that doesn’t mean you have to be always in front of a desk and locked up in a building. I’d like my future job to be full of movement, because I can’t be still during prolonged periods of time, a specific fact that motivated me to search for a profession where I could be able to interact with people and travel (hopefully to places I haven’t been before), that is why I’m currently studying journalism, I'm hoping that someday I would become a journalist. I have always pictured my occupation will imply a lot of movement from my part besides paperwork, so if it’s possible I’d take every opportunity to develop my work outdoors as well. When you are a journalist that’s an often reality, which means I could be moving across the city in order to get information, make interviews or witness specific situations. Moreover, if my English or any other language is improved so that when I get my degr...

Post 04: My favorite TV show

Imagen
I don't actually have a favorite TV programm, but I really like the German show “Dark” of Netflix. It’s place in a town named Winden, the story revolves around the protagonist, Jonas Kahnwald, a teenager who has suffered a terrible loss and is forced to face unexpected truths about him, his family and the people near him. The series begins with the disapperance of a person, situation that somehow is related to a bunch of police old cases and records. The programm presents previous events occurred decades ago, where some of the characters are involved. As the show continues, we get to know more things, the mysteries starting to make sense to then leave you speechless. Furthermore, the facts and explanations between the events from the past, present and even the future are so well accomplished that at the end of the series most of the things are explained, I think that it's what I like the most about the show, all the incidents lead to something specific at the last episode in ...

Post 3: A person I would like to know

Hans Zimmer   I’d like to meet Hans Zimmer if I got the chance, he is a german composer and record producer, he is very recognized for his work in films and videogame soundtracks. He is usually a calm person but has a wild side when he performs, according to his own words he is not good at talking and that's why he expresses himself writing music.   I admire that he somehow coordinates his music to the scenes and context of the movies, but the soundtracks that he prepares always have something particular, it could be a voice, an specific instrument, or the length of the track. But the way he mixtures different genres and sounds in just one song, is pretty remarkable, because he has the ability to produce feelings through his songs, how to make the audience feel: anxious, happy, sad, or moved depending on the respective scene. He is known for soundtracks such as: "The Lion King", “The inception”, “Batman: The dark knight trilogy”, “Interstellar”, “Pirates of the Caribb...

Post 2: Songs and Memories

Peter Gabriel I think one of the moments I treasure the most happened when I was around 7 years old (I’m not so sure) and I watched a performance of a singer named Peter Gabriel. I don’t remember exactly why I was at my house that day (probably it was a weekend), I just know that when I entered the living room the TV was on, which was most likely my parents' fault. Moved by pure curiosity I looked at the TV and without noticing I ended up watching a live performance. At the moment I didn’t know but what I was watching was the last show of a tour of Peter Gabriel in 2003, Peter was singing along with a woman and I got impressed that despite the age he seemed to be his voice could be heard over the cheers of the crowd, it was so powerful. Futhermore I must say the song that left me speechless and I remember more clearly at that time was Downside up . It started as a slow song, then it began to get louder and suddenly Peter and the woman were hanging upside down by some cables abo...

Post 1: A Country I would like to visit

Imagen
Since I was very young the idea of travelling is appealing to me, because when you visit places that you have never been before it makes you feel a mixture of nerves and excitment, and if you are captivated by the site you visit you’ll feel pure bliss, making you catch new scents and views that are not easy to forget, you may even meet people with differents customs. Luckly I had the opportunity to visit amazing parts of my country, but even if I still have some places in mind to go, my bucket list before turn 30 has my top goal. Wich is, to save enough money to travel to Japan, and that being the case go to all the places I can possible afford. Why? would people ask, why go to a country where you can't speak Chilean or another dialect from Spanish?, well, in fact that is the reason why, you can't speak or act like you normally would, after all is a completly diffrent country from another continent. Japan has thousand of years of an extensive and overwhelming amount of hist...
